The Table

The Table is a gathering of family, an intentional place of community, where we share both food and conversation with one another. We believe that hearts flourish when relationships are formed and the family of God stays connected. Anyone and everyone is welcome!

In all seasons of life, our friends, coworkers, neighbors, community, and church family need to be connected and nurtured in order to grow. It is our belief that sharing a meal is one of the best ways to care for each other in this way. Wooster Nazarene hopes to provide a simple way for EVERYONE to gather around the table on one designated day. We encourage you to reach out to someone new, whether it be an individual or several people, and invite them to share a meal on Saturday, September 26.

Host a Table: At Our Place…
Wooster Nazarene will provide tables and chairs both inside and out (weather permitting) for use at lunchtime or suppertime on Saturday, September 26. Reserve your table by filling out this form. Just bring your tableware and food and drinks of your choice (homecooked, potluck, pizza, takeout, etc.) and enjoy time together! Tables will be set up in the rear parking lot and in the gym, with adequate distancing in mind.

...Or yours
Maybe you will choose to host lunch or dinner in your own home. This doesn’t need to be fancy; rather, it is meant to be a time for conversation and connection. Maybe you’ll want to cook your favorite meal, order takeout, or plan a picnic at a local park. Grab a conversation starter card in the foyer for ideas to get the table talking!

No matter how you choose to gather on September 26…Let’s all Gather to Grow!
